Freight Trains (Mg)

During the year 2009-10, the number of freight trains run on the Metre Gauge totalled 13063 and they covered a total 1085751 kilometres. These figures do not include 405972 train-kilometres run on departmental account. The goods proportion of the mixed train-kilometrage was 98100 during the year under review. Freight wagon kilometres on goods as well as mixed trains were 55485045 and these do not include 10062260 wagonkilometres on departmental account. Year-wise position is indicated below:-
